Lifton Hall is a two star, Grade II listed building dating from the 16th Century that combines traditional character with modern refurbishments including wireless internet and digital TV. Were a family run hotel and aim to make your stay with us as relaxing as possible. We have 10 large, individually furnished rooms, all with en suite facilities. We serve locally sourced, home-cooked, honest food in a relaxed and charming atmosphere.We are ideally situated for touring the southwest, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of some of the major resorts. There are great beaches, wild moor land and some of Devon and Cornwalls best visitor attractions within easy reach. The old market town Launceston is only 5-10 minutes drive whilst both The Eden Project and the north coast can be reached within 45 minutes. Bodmin Moor and Dartmooor are under 30 minutes drive. For golf enthusiasts there are dozens of courses in the area, with the closest 10-15 minutes drive away. We currently offer the Out To Play Golf scheme with two green fees for the price of one. Our bar has loads of traditional charm, including two open fires, and is the perfect place to enjoy an ale and some freshly cooked food. We have two outside seating areas where you can sit and enjoy a cream tea or a glass of chilled wine. Free wireless internet in most rooms and all communal areas. Pets are welcome. Free parking.

Lifton Hall Hotel - Directions:
From the M5 heading westward, leave at junction 31 (the end of the M5) and take the A30 towards Okehampton. Stay on the A30 for about 40 minutes, passing Okehampton, heading for Launceston. Leave the A30 at the Liftondown exit and follow the signs for Lifton - Hotels and BandBs. Continue through the village, and our hotel is on your left shortly after the post office and stores. The car park entrance is immediately after the hotel building. From Cornwall, take the A30 heading east. Exit the A30 at the Liftondown exit and follow the signs for Lifton - Hotels and BandBs. Continue through the village, and our hotel is on your left shortly after the post office and stores.Our nearest railway stations are Exeter and Plymouth. Exeter is the better option if youre travelling from the east and is on the WaterlooPaddington line to Penzance. It takes approximately 3 hours from London. Taxis can usually be caught outside the station, but its often cheaper if you ask us to arrange a taxi to pick you up. Plymouth station may be better if youre travelling from Cornwall. Again taxis can be arranged to pick you up.Our closest airports are Exeter and Newquay. Bristol is also within a couple of hours. TAxis or car hire are available.
