The Old Coach House (4 AA Rated and a member of the Dartmoor Tourist Association) is situated in 1.5 Acres of secluded, landscaped gardens with a number of seating areas for the relaxation of our guests. Each of our 4 letting rooms(all non-smoking) have a number of amenities for the comfort of our guests. Each overlooks the gardens and has its own front door allowing our guests to come and go as they please. Breakfast is taken in the adjacent Thatched Cottage which has a delightful breakfast room from which we offer a varied menu using local produce. We also cater for all dietary requirements including vegetarian and vegan diets. Cathy and Paul at The Old Coach House endeavor to provide their guests with a high standard of personalized and friendly service. Personal touches and attention to detail help to make sure your stay a happy and relaxed occasion. CHECK IN TIMES.You may check in from 1700 hours on day of arrival (earlier by arrangement). The Old Coach House B and B - Directions:
4 minutes from the A30 at Broadwoodwidger.If approaching The Old Coach House from the North, leave the M5 for the A30 at Exeter following the signs to Okehampton.Proceed South from Exeter on the A30 for approximately half an hour. After the Okehampton exit (stay on the A30), you should take the turning off the A30 following the brown tourist sign to Dingles Steam Museum and Roadford Lake. At the T- junction, turn left and follow the lane for approximately 1 and12 miles to Sprytown Cross (watch out for the pheasants in the road!). At the crossroad proceed straight over, and you will find us immediately on the right. If approaching The Old Coach House from the South, take the turning off the A30 signposted to Lifton, Tinhay and Lewdown, immediately after entering Devon from Cornwall. Follow the road through the village of Lifton. After leaving the village proceed for approximately 1 mile until you reach Sprytown Cross. Take the road to the right to Sprytown, and you will find us immediately on the right.We are approximalely 20 minutes from the market town of TAVISTOCK which has a wealth of interesting shops and restaurants to explore.
